In John 11, we see one of the most interesting stories in the Bible. The friend of Jesus had been sick. They called Jesus but He did not show up until four days after the man had died. John 11: 38-44 says, “Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? (If you refuse to believe, you will see the glory of satan). Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. (He had to be specific because if He said, “come forth,” without being specific, all the dead there would come out). And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”

Recovering Your Assets From The Destroyer PDF Print E-mail

If you are a black person you must pray the prayers in this message the way you had never prayed before. There are so many things in the background of the black man that are pulling him backward.

God might have a purpose for your life but your family idols could tie you down. You want to move ahead but they would not allow you, because of the hold they have on your family. You had prayed and God showed you a revelation that you have to fly as an eagle and just as your eagle was about to take off, a strongman stood on the way, and said, “Where are you flying to? No one has ever flown in this family.” And you said, “I must fly.” But he said, “We shall call upon what we have planted in your life now and we shall see how you will succeed.” The truth is that whether you are a pastor, a priest, or a born again Christian filled with the Holy Ghost, as far as these materials are still in your life, they would pull you back. You will make heaven, no problem, but you would have lived a second- class life.

The Way of Spiritual Immunity PDF Print E-mail

Immunity is a state whereby certain things cannot harm you. It is having an internal defense. Sometimes, people wonder why they are always attacked and the attacks prosper while some other people do not even see any attack and it seems as if nothing touches them. Perhaps the later group has learnt the principles of spiritual immunity.

Power To Trouble Your Trouble PDF Print E-mail

Psalm 46:1-11:, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountain be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most high. God is in the midst of her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Come behold the works of the Lord, what desolation he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth. He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder, he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge.”

Somebody once said that life was like an onion: you can peel off one layer at a time but as you do so, its juice gets into your eyes and causes your eyes to be filled with tears. There is something that is known as the trouble of life. I read a comment by one man of God called Matthew Henry. Somebody stole his things and the people around him found out that he was not sad about it. So, they asked him why and he said something that shocked me. He said: “I thank God that it was not me that was stolen and that I was not the robber.” That was his way of looking at the case. Sometimes we look so long at closed doors that we do not see the great ones the Lord has opened unto us.
