In August 2001, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles ministries officially started off in Freetown at no 71 Soldier Street Freetown after due process of  registration. Through the effort of Pastor Ebokpa of  M.F.M France who coordinated the activities along side with other senior pastors at the International Headquarters in one way or the other at that time. Pastor Bassey Iyang and Pastor Paul (not Joseph) were the pioneer ministers. There was several transfer and disruptions of duties, before Pastor Happiness S. Kargbo took over from Pastor Okon the Head of Mission as at that Time.

She took the church from her location to Number 88 Sanders Street in August 2006. By January 2007 this particular branch became the Regional Headquarters to three other African countries namely: Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau , and Liberia .

Pastor Paul Joseph resumed to Freetown on the 19^th January same year as the Assistant Regional Overseer and since then the region as been experiencing a dramatic turn around to the glory of God.

He moved the church to her present location, at 21/21a Adesanyah Street, Brookfields, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

In line with the Vision of the ministry the church building is presently undergoing construction to meet the challenges of this present generation.
